Travelling through France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany,  Luxembourg. Visiting the  Cities of Bruges, Brussels, Maastricht, Cochem, Luxembourg and Epernay.

Through the Flanders region to the home of Andre Rieu. To the  Mosel river, and  one of  the largest Castle areas of  Germany.  Next stop is the principality of Luxembourg, and   finally we Travel through the  Beautiful Ardennes region to the Champagne capital of France, Epernay.

Itinerary

Day 1– 2 Bruges, Belgium

Short drive to Dover for your crossing to Calais, then a short drive to your first stop, Bruges. Where we stay for 2 nights

Days 3—5 Brussels, Belgium

A relatively short hop to Brussels to maximise the time at this location. Your Hotel is in Grimbergen just outside Brussels but with excellent links to the city.

Days 6 –8 Maastricht, Holland                                                               

We continue with the Journey into Holland, to the city of  Maastricht and the home of Andre Rieu.

Days 9—11 Cochem, Germany

Today you head into Germany and Close to the town of Cochem,  Here you can walk through the beautiful town with its half-timbered houses,  visit Cochem Castle, the largest hill castle on the Moselle or take the chair lift for a fantastic panoramic view. Alternatively you could take a trip to the fairy-tale Eltz Castle that dates back to the 12th century

Days 12—13 Luxembourg

Today you will take the short drive through the more open part of the Moselle valley to the principality of Luxembourg.

Day 14 Epernay, France

Heading back towards Calais with a stopover for 1 night in the Champagne capital of France, Epernay.

Here you will be able to stock your Vehicle to the gunnels with the golden bubbles.

Day 15 Home

Final leg back to Calais for an Afternoon  departure to Dover.

This is a fairly long leg of the journey so best make an early start.
